This summer, in honor of the Hortman family’s beautiful wish to spread kindness and plant a tree, Achieve was gifted 150 white spruce trees by the generous team at Itasca Greenhouse.

Our participants and staff came together this summer to plant the trees across Minnesota. A few trees were planted right in Achieve’s backyard, while others found new homes throughout the Twin Cities and beyond. Trees were planted in communities including Anoka, Coon Rapids, Elk River, Emily, Fridley, Ham Lake, Le Sueur, Madison Lake, Mankato, Maple Grove, McGregor, Minneapolis, Otsego, Pequot Lakes, Pine City, Ramsey, Sandstone, St. Cloud, and St. Francis.

We are incredibly grateful to have been able to plant trees in the Hortman’s honor and for Itasca Greenhouse’s help in making this possible.
